Goran Kosanović se ponovo vraća slikanju, ovaj put da bi odao omaž impresionistima. Od samoga početka bavljenja umetnošću Goran nam na svoj originalan način priča priče o svojim ljubavima. Kada su slikari u pitanju već smo imali prilike da se sretnemo sa Šagalom, Vorholom, Gojom, Iv Klajnom, Radomirom Damnjanovićem Damnjanom u Goranovim radovima. Na red su došli impresionisti Mone, Renoar, Sezan i dr.
Goran Kosanović je jedan od retkin naših likovnih umetnika, srednje generacije koji sistematski i osmišljeno gradi i radi na svom rukopisu različitih tematika, ali uvek sa puno ljubavi i u bukvalnom značenju te reči. Kod Gorana su sjedinjeni saradnja sa živim iskustvom, za njega je sve dovoljno prostrano i dovoljno novo da bi iz njega crpeo sve ono što je u skladu sa njegovim senzibilitetom punim slobode, bogatim doživljajima i oslobodjenim teorijama. On jednostavno teži da bude veliko O “On”, a ne neko drugi. Svaka njegova slika nije rezultat samo veštine nego i akt kreacije i emocije.
Goran Kosanović je izložbom “ Razglednice”, iskazao osobenu originalnost. Nakon što je svojim mobilnim telefonom beležio sve što mu je moglo da privuče pažnju na raznoraznim putovanjima sa svojom ženom Mladenom, on slika na origanal način gradove i predele koji su na njega ostavili utisak. Izložbu sačinjavaju slike, njih osam , koje su naslikane akrilnim bojama uz obilato korišćenje tuša. “Nica”, “Barselona”(divljenje prema Gaudijevoj veličanstvenoj umetnosti),”Budimpešta”, Katedrala “ Duomo” u Firenci, Renoarova kuća u Provansi, “Atina”, sa Akropoljem koji je na jedan diskretan način predstavljen ali dovoljno snažno i lepo, “Jezero kod Klagenfurta” u Austriji i slika “Balkon”,( kojom kao da nas podseća da je na kraju svih putovanja najlepše kod kuće na vlastitoj terasi punoj cveća).
Na slici “Duomo” vidimo ljubičasto nebo i predivnu katedralu iz Firence(naslikana iz neobičnog ugla),koju je sam umetnik imao prilike da gleda iz sobe kada je pre tri godine imao izložbu u tom gradu. Omaž velikim slikarima impresionizma je očigledan u radovima: “Jezero kod Klagenfurta”, gde Moneovi lokvanji ovaj put lete zajedno sa oblacima, i u slici “Renoarova kuća iz Provanse”. Cveće sa ove slike kao da se prelilo na sliku “Nica, koja kao da lebdi izmedju neba i cveća. Sve četiri slike Nica, Barselona, Budimpešta i Atina ispunjene su tušem naslikanim zgradama, koje je na svojim putovanjima po tim gradovima zabeležio Goran svojim mobilnim telefonom. Reč je o stotinama fotografija. Na svim slikama dominira samo Goranovo plavo nebo protkano zvezdama, spiralnim mesecom i ponekim belim oblačkom. Kao još jedna od poruka koje nam Goranova umetnost daje , a to je poruka: I nebo vas voli.
Goran Kosanović ovom izložbom obeležava jubilej impresionizma. Od “Anonimnog društva” do svetskih velikana impresionizam živi i danas i živeće za navek u istoriji umetnosti kao putokaz i inspiracija. Goran Kosanović je svojom izložbom “Razglednice” dokazao da je ta tvrdnja tačna.

Goran Kosanović has once more gone back to painting, this time to honour the Impressionists with an homage. From the very beginning of his career as an artist, Goran has been telling us stories about his loves in the most original manner. When it comes to painters, his work has already offered us encounters with Chagall, Warhol, Goya, Yves Klein, and Radomir Damnjanović Damnjan. Now it’s the Impressionists turn: Monet, Renoir, Cézanne and others.
Goran Kosanović is one of the few local artist of his generation that has systematically and conceptually worked on and improved his artistic “manuscript”, trying on various techniques, but always lovingly and literally. As an artist, he cooperates with living experience, everything is spacious enough, new enough for him, and from it he draws what is in harmony with his free nature, his opulent experience and unconstrained theories. Simply put, Goran yearns to become He with a capital “H”, not someone else. Each one of his paintings is not merely result of skill, but also an act of creation and emotion.
The “Postcards” exhibition reflects Kosanović’s particular originality. After using his mobile phone to record everything and anything that attracted his attention on the voyages he took with his wife Mladena, he continues to paint cities and sceneries that made an impression on him. The exhibition consists of eight acrylic/ink paintings: “Nice”, “Barcelona” (admiration of Gaudí's magnificent art), “Budapest”, “Duomo” (the Florentine cathedral), “Renoir’s Home in Provence”, “Athens” with the Acropolis portrays in a discrete, yet sufficiently powerful and beautiful way, “Lake by Klagenfurt“, and “Balcony”, which almost reminds us that, after all voyages come to an end, the best place to be is at home, on one’s own balcony filled with flowers.
“Duomo” introduces us to the purple sky and the magnificent cathedral, painted from an unorthodox perspective, which the artist could view upon from his room three years ago, when he held an exhibition in Florence. His homage to the great Impressionists is obvious in his “Lake by Klagenfurt”, where Monet’s water lilies hover with the clouds, as well in “Renoir’s Home in Provence”. The painted flowers there extend into “Nice”, which appears to be floating amidst the flowers and the sky. The four paintings – “Nice”, “Barcelona”, “Budapest” and “Athens” – are filled with buildings painted in ink, after being captured by Goran’s mobile phone during his voyages through these cities. There are hundreds of such photographs. However, all paintings are dominated by the blue sky embedded with stars, the spiralling moon and a white cloud here and there. As if Goran’s art is trying to convey yet another message: The sky loves you too.
With this exhibition, Goran Kosanović is contributing to marking an important jubilee of Impressionism. From the Anonymous Society to acclaimed and admired artists, Impressionism is still very much alive today, and will continue to thrive throughout history of art as guideline and inspiration. Goran Kosanović and his “Postcards” exhibition prove this to be correct.
